How You Can Help

The Rapid Response Network of Kern provides training sessions as a free service upon request to community members who want to make a positive impact for the immigrant community. Here are some ways you can get involved:

• You can invite us to present Know Your Rights (KYR) and other relevant information to your community.
• You can become a Know Your Rights (KYR) trainer by attending a train-the-trainer workshop.
• You can get trained to be a legal observer. Legal observers record and report ICE activity happening in their community.
• You can become a Mesa Verde visitor to provide support to immigrants imprisoned in the Mesa Verde Detention Center.
• You can support impacted families by accompanying them to their ICE check-in or connecting them with community resources.
